Good Samaritan Ministry

The ministry may be able to assist with housing, emergency food, utilities, and more. 

Community Christian

May be able to assist with food, clothing, hygiene items, housing solutions, and referrals to other relevant agencies.

Eligible applicants may qualify for a child car seat.

Building a better St. Tammany through affordable homeownership, financial education, advocacy, and neighborhood empowerment.

Rainbow Childcare

To provide child care services to eligible low-income families, enabling parents to work or pursue job training and achieve selp-sufficiency.

Feed Dat

Feed Dat Ministry is a ministry that connects food and other items to those in need. First United Methodist Church starts distributing food at 9 a.m. on Thursdays, and will distribute food until gone.

YSB CASA PROGRAM 

A program that trains and supervises community volunteers from all walks of life to be a voice in Court for abused and neglected children, to help judges find them safe and permanent homes.

Southeast Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery 

We are truly blessed to have some of the finest veteran organizations as partners in creating and maintaining an honorable final resting place for our local heroes. The staff at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery is here to help veteran families in their time of need.

Backpack Blessings

Meets once a month on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9-10 am to pack food bags for children to have breakfast, lunch and dinner on the weekends. The bags are delivered to area schools by volunteers affiliated with Aldersgate United Methodist Church. 

Family Reach Alliance

Our services range from providing food, shelter, and comprehensive support services for homeless families, to offering guidance and advocacy to prevent at-risk families from becoming homeless. We also focus on educating the broader community about poverty and effective strategies to combat it.

Tri-Parish Works

Tri-Parish Works is the public agency providing employment and training services in St. Tammany, St. Bernard, and Plaquemines Parishes under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Janet's Korner

Janet's Korner is open to the general public and sells gently used & new shoes, clothing, & household goods. Please support us by shopping at Janet's Korner. All proceeds support our mission to feed, clothe, and house our neighbors in need.
