Louis Ochoa has served as Commissioner for the St. Tammany Parish Economic Development Corporation (STEDC) since January 1, 2024, helping guide the parish’s leading economic growth organization. . Louis’s community involvement is extensive. Since 2019, he has been a board member of the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, where he currently chairs the Events Committee, advancing the Chamber’s vision to promote collaboration, leadership, and economic opportunity. He previously served on the East St. Tammany Chamber board (2016–2018) and is the 2025 President of Leadership Northshore, an organization dedicated to developing informed, connected, and service-driven leaders. He also serves on the Friends of Camellia City board, supporting efforts to preserve Slidell’s heritage, revitalize its downtown, and enhance public spaces for residents and visitors alike. As the owner of LOI Hospitality Group—home to NOLA Southern Grill, NOLA Lagniappe, Pinewood Country Club, The Sadie Jane, and The Villa—and founder of Louis Ochoa Investments LLC, he drives economic activity and job creation through both hospitality and real estate ventures. Supported by his wife, Renee LeBeau Ochoa, and proud father to Jason and Sadie, Louis is deeply committed to shaping a vibrant, thriving St. Tammany.
